History

Also called Cambo. It was collected by mycologist John Allen. According to John Allen, the story that they were collected at the historical site of Angkor Wat is not true. They were actually collected near Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, 150 km from Angkor Wat. A strain was collected by John Allen in Angkor Wat and isolated, but due to the confusion nowadays about the strain’s name, it was mixed up or confused with Cambodian, or it was lost.


Cultivation

Extremely fast-colonizing strain. On agar, it can grow almost twice as fast as other cubensis strains! Extra info: Produces beautiful mushrooms with bell-shaped caps. Excellent spore depositor, very productive and resistant. Recommended for beginners.
